Casey Anthony walked out of the Orange County Jail on Friday morning, donning an ankle monitoring bracelet and a white T-shirt featuring her 3-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. She is charged with child abuse and making false statements to investigators.
Caylee was reported missing in mid-July from Orlando. The girl hadn't been seen for a month before Anthony told authorities.
Detectives have said Anthony's trunk had contained a decomposing body and that it was likely her daughter's. However, no other charges have been filed against Anthony.
Prosecutors asked for a high bond, hoping Anthony wouldn't be able to get out. Two local bond agencies posted the $500,000 bond for her Thursday.
Allen Moore, a spokesman for the Orange County jail, said Thursday night that Casey Anthony is required to wear an ankle monitoring bracelet and it takes longer to process such releases, he said.
Earlier this week, investigators said that FBI lab tests and other evidence indicated a decomposing body had been in Casey Anthony's car trunk at some point, and it was likely her daughter's.
Anthony is charged with child abuse and making false statements to investigators, which were filed soon after she reported her daughter missing. Last week, she also was charged with check fraud and theft and returned to jail.
Prosecutors have called her the prime suspect in what appears to be a murder case, but have not filed those charges. Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, has said repeatedly his client doesn't know what happened to her daughter.
"There's always that possibility that at a later date more charges could be brought on her," Orange County Sheriff's spokesman Carlos Padilla said Thursday.
The first time Anthony was released, a California bond business paid her bail. Anthony was returned to jail just a week later after sheriff's deputies recommended the new charges. She has posted that required, and much lower, bail, but remained jailed after the bond agency withdrew its money.
The bond was posted by MacDonald Bail Bonds of Kissimmee and by the Von Waldner Bail Bond Agency as a transfer bond from Miller Bonds in Kissimmee, according to a statement from the jail.
At a July hearing, detectives disclosed finding hair strands and a suspicious stain in Anthony's trunk, which had been left for days at a check-cashing business before being towed. Those who went near the car said it smelled of human decomposition.
In Florida, it is unlawful to hold someone without bail on the lesser charges Anthony faces, so prosecutors in July requested a high bond they hoped she couldn't make.

RE: Link
This makes me sick!! She is one of those people that can fall into doo-doo and come out smelling like a rose. I don't see how she sleeps at nights or gets through a day. It would eat me alive if I was in her shoes.

I just hope the FBI can get enough forensic evidence from the car so the proper charges can be filed against that poor excuse of a mother. I think something awful happened to Caylee, maybe even an accident, who knows... I think the grandparents know EXACTLY what happened and are now protecting their "little daughter"
We'll keep praying for Caylee...

I agree with you Froggie! It's disgusting that they post her bond once again! Innocent until proven guilty? Why can't they prove her guilty already?! HELLO!!! Tests show human decomposition in trunk, Caylee's hair??, and now a deadly substance Chlorophorm???, and also internet views on chlorophorm??? THIS WAS HER CAR THIS STUFF WAS FOUND IN, HER COMPUTER THIS STUFF WAS FOUND IN! GIVE ME A BREAK! She is guilty, whether she did anything or not... this was her car and she knows! But no one can convince me that this was an accident and she didn't commit a crime. Her and her family are just bold face lieing. Maybe the family out of denial, but Casey knows... Speak up already, I am ready to find out what happened to that sweet baby that I just can't seem to get off my mind!!! I could care less about the rest of the bullcrap that goes along with Casey and her crap! She belongs in Jail... PERIOD! And how dare someone bail her out once again... he better be glad he is staying anonmous, because someone would really be out to get him/her if not. Such a shame...

What about the child's father? Who is he? Where is he? Has anybody heard?

Honestly no one knows, hell Casey prob doesn't even know... as you know she has been around the block from what I have seen and heard. She said he died... but who knows what to believe from this girl anymore, not one word that is believable has came out of her mouth.

I can't believe that with all the technology available it is taking so long to solve this. I believe the parents know more than what they are saying and that the child may have been missing longer. The child could have been sold to someone who couldn't get a child through legal channels. That might be were the chlorophorm comes in. No matter what this woman knows what actually happened and I would like to see the people knocking on their door all hours of the night not letting anyone of them get a minutes piece until someone breaks. Someone out there other than the mother and grandparents knows what has happened to this child and they need to come forward.

since Chlorophorm was detected in the same area where the little girls hair & evidence of decomposition was found SURE DOESN'T SOUND LIKE AN ACCIDENT!
why on earth would that let that woman loose on the streets?
how is that not enough evidence to hold her?
