There are a few ways I was considering replying here. I could have taken the logical path and said if the ledger is so liberal why would they recommend Putnam? But logic doesn't work with these people. I thought about the humorous way, pointing out the misspelled "lier" and joking about that, but though I'm sure it wasn't a simple typing error I usually don't like to harp on spelling or grammar, unless it's from someone saying how smart they are and I doubt old Pustic ever bragged about that. Finally I settled for calling Poe's law and be done with it.

I offered a small wager with one of the Obama supporters on here a while back. I bet the Ledger was on Obama's side and she would not take my bet, but yet she said the Ledger would not pick Obama. I knew I was right.

      Oy. Vey.

Someone has a problem with reading comprehension or just deliberate obtuseness.

For the 2008 elections on November 4:

The Ledger endorsed Adam Putnam--yeah, he's the red-headed Republican.

The Ledger also endorsed J.D. Alexander, Sam Johnson, Kelli Stargel--all three are Republicans.

The Ledger endorsed Obama; HOWEVER, this "liberal" newspaper endorsed Bush in 2000 and 2004, AND endorsed Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist. Last time I checked, all 3 are Republicans.

Besides Obama, John Russell and Nancy Z. Daley are the only other Democrats the Ledger endorsed.

So, to sum up, your post is nonsense, not to mention bigoted.
