We use to have a really fantastic baking soda topic that so many added to- their favorite uses for this fantastic, not-just-for-cooking, powder.  After running across the link I'll add below, I definitely think we need to bring it back.

I personally LOVE baking soda.  I like to keep a box in the freezer and fridge to cut back rogue permeating odors and when I think the box's usefulness is all used up there, I then use it as a cleaning paste for other things.

My favorite uses are for cleaning my coffee pot to a sparkling clean and cleaning my copper bottom pots and pans.   It also does a fantastic job cleaning my sinks and as an additive to my laundry detergent.

Are you like me and won't be caught without a box?   Do you have a favorite use for baking soda?

Now, I do know some people that use it as toothpaste.  I've tried it, and I'm sure it works well, but I can't get on board with the flavor.  How about you?

I use it as well for cleaning, and i also put it in the bath - makes your skin feel so soft.

I've used it with some vinegar to clean out my drains.  Also helps with the odors that get trapped in the elbow of the kitchen sink drain. My mom has used it as toothpaste, but I'm like you the taste is something not desired.
