Harold Rodman, TSA worker, arrested for sexual assault

A Transportation Security Administration employee is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Manassas.
The suspect, Harold Glen Rodman, 52, allegedly was wearing his uniform and displayed a badge to the victim, a 37-year-old woman.
Police arrested Rodman on Nov. 20. He is charged with aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration, forcible sodomy and abduction with intent to defile.
A TSA spokesperson confirmed that Rodman works for the agency but wouldn’t say in what capacity or where.
Police said the victim reported that she and a friend were in the 10500 block of Winfield Loop in Manassas when the suspect approached them. The suspect flashed a badge and sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing on foot, police said.
Police responded and canvassed the area when Rodman stepped out of his residence. He matched the description given by the victim and was taken into custody, police said.
Those who live in the community says they were shocked to learn that a neighbor was facing sexual assault charges.
“He seems like a normal guy. I’m really shocked,” says one neighbor.

Caught In Act, TSA Bomb Screener Declares Child Porn "Not Right In A Legal And Moral Sense"

As cops raided his Maryland home, a Transportation Security Administration screener confessed to downloading child pornography, acknowledged that it was “not right in a legal and moral sense,” and stated that he has a “problem.”
The admissions by Scott Wilson, 41, came as Baltimore investigators recently searched his home after an undercover agent downloaded child porn from his computer via a file sharing program.Wilson, pictured in the mug shot at right, told detectives that he worked for the TSA at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport, where his responsibilities included “screening cargo on commercial flights for explosives,” according to a federal court filing. Wilson was charged last month in Maryland circuit court with two felony child porn counts.
After waiving his Miranda rights, Wilson--who has been suspended by the TSA--told investigators that he used his laptop to download illicit images of children, and that he “sometimes masturbates to the images of child pornography.” Wilson added that he “usually deletes the child pornography” after viewing movies and images “because he knows that it is not right in a legal and moral sense. Wilson stated that he knows that he has a problem.”
A “forensic preview” of Wilson’s two computers (as well as various storage devices found in a locked safe) revealed a variety of videos and photos “depicting prepubescent females engaged in sexually explicit conduct with adults.”
Free on $250,000 bail in the state case, Wilson could still face federal child porn charges. Department of Homeland Security agents last month received permission from a federal judge to search Wilson’s laptop, three hard drives, and 31 other digital storage devices that were seized from his residence.

January 5, 2012A TSA “Behavioral detection” officer was sentenced to two years in prison on conspiracy charges Wednesday after being found guilty of providing information to suspected drug traffickers and helping them get past security checkpoints with minimum scrutiny.
Minnetta Walker was arrested last March by federal agents at Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
Investigators discovered that Walker had helped traffickers move large amounts of cash through the airport, escorting them through security lines, directing them away from the naked body scanners and patdown security lines, and ensuring their luggage bypassed screening areas.
Walker also aided at least one suspected narcotics trafficker to fly under a false identity and warned at least one other suspect that police officers were conducting undercover surveillance of him.
It was also revealed that on occasion Walker waited with suspected drug carriers at the aircraft departure gate, ensuring that they were able to avoid random secondary screening.
She also did this while off duty, but still wearing her TSA uniform.
“As a TSA employee, Minetta Walker represented one of the nation’s last lines of defense when it comes to airline safety and national security.” said U.S. Attorney William Hochul, Jr. in an FBI statement.
“In this position, the public had a right to expect from Walker the highest degree of honesty and integrity,” he added.
“By abusing her position of trust, Walker not only dishonored her profession, she permitted illegal narcotics trafficking to continue to the detriment of the Western New York community. Today’s sentence sends a strong message that such behavior will not be permitted by this office.”
The investigation into the trafficking at the Buffalo airport is ongoing.
The most sickening part of the case is that Walker’s role as a “behavioral detection” officer is to walk around the airport seeking out potential criminals by analyzing their behaviour. Clearly it takes one to know one.
The case is yet another in a long history of instances indicating that TSA workers are prone to criminal behavior.

On Monday, Kimberly Saenz, a 38-year-old nurse who worked at the clinic, was set to face trial for one count of capital murder that accuses her of killing as many as five patients and five counts of aggravated assault for injuring five others.

Senad Djedovic, 29, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, met the girl during a cruise she was on with her parents, according to a federal complaint affidavit. The girl and her parents are from Minnesota. The ship departed Tampa on Jan. 29 for a weeklong Caribbean cruise that ended Feb. 5.
Djedovic met up with the girl after a stop at Costa Maya, Mexico. The pair had a sexual encounter in a staircase, the complaint states.
