Connecting moms in Polk County, Fla.

Activities for mommy and baby???

I am new to the area and looking for some activities (free or close to nothing) I can attend with my 6 month old son. I would like to be able to meet some other moms and have him interact w/ others. we dont know ANYBODY here yet. :/

The Lakeland Public Library has a fun program. I've met a lot of nice moms there.

MOTHER GOOSE TIME is for our youngest ages 6 mths to 20 mths. Designed for parent /caregiver interaction with the child, Miss Connie teaches age appropriate songs & rhymes to all.

Mother Goose Time is typically 20 minutes in length and runs on a 6 week schedule of programs with two weeks off.

Mother Goose Time is on Thursdays at 11am at the Main Library. No registration is required.

Hi there!

Welcome to the area! I have a 9 month old daughter and I'm always looking for new friends for her (and me) :). There is a walking group that was just started up on here recently, I have attended one so far and met a really nice mom. I think it is posted under announcements, if you are interested.
