Bartow/South Lakeland Playgroup
I live in Bartow and am looking for a afternoon/early evening playgroup for my son who will be 2 in October. I also want to meet new moms :)

I have a 2.5yo son who is in desperate need of friends. We live off of 540A, near Bartow Rd. I'd be more than willing to host a play-date at my house. The kids can play out in the sprinkler, or just run around the yard. We also like going to Backyard Adventures and Family Fun Center. Gym Etc. has open gym on Thursday from 11am-12pm, for children 1-5, it's $4. We go to the park when it's not too hot, but I have a fainting disorder and I try to limit my time standing in the sun.

I would like to bring my kids to play. I have a son who will be 2 in January. I also have a newborn and almost 5 yr old. I live in fort Meade.

I live in S. Lakeland and my son will be 2 this coming week. We love to go play at Common Ground Park when the weather is good or other parks in the area. We plan to try and go to story time at the Lakeland library and Bartow (not sure of the schedule right now) I know story time isn't an afternoon thing but just thought I'd mention it as an option if you get the chance.

Open to public Mondays 9a.m-12p.m and Tuesdays 9a.m-12-p.m
Infants and children welcome accompanied by adult with valid ID
Brand new fully equipped classrooms with toys, games, and books available for use
Outdoor playground on premises
$5 Entrance fee. Check preferred, but cash accepted
No sick children please

I had a crazy week. My poor baby had a swollen penis and we spent the night in the ER. And I had a painful abscessed tooth that needed a root canal. But we're all better now! We are going to GYM ETC. on Thursday for open gym, if anyone want's to meet up there. It's $4 to play, from 11am-12pm.
