I'm finding myself with little time and even less energy to bake cookies for my boys to decorate. Is there some place I might order a couple dozen shaped cookies?

I saw some gingerbread house kits at sams, but I don't remember the brand of them.

Last year some friends took some graham crackers and some frosting tubes/candy and made a gingerbread house.

Not sure about cookie cutouts though, good luck!

Wow, I don't know where you would buy them, but I think it sounds like a great stinkin Idea!!!!  This is said after I just now got my kitchen clean from the grandkids making cookies today.  And my sugar cookie recipe, stinks.  You have to keep refridgerating the dough because after 4-5 minutes, it gets so soft, you can't use it!  It would be nice to be able to purchase basic gingerbread men, snowmen, etc the dough and then the kids could decorate, the part they like anyway!

you could get the premade stuff in like the tube thing in the cold section at publix and just roll it out and then cut them pop them in the oven wouldn't take as much work as making them yourself

You can buy boxes of pre-made cookies at GFS Marketplace in North Lakeland that are pre-cut. They are in the frozen section and still would need to be baked.

Its a piece of cake by Maggi in auburndale tends to sell them this time of year. I don't know the cost though.

Publix has gingerbread men to be decorated, they were in a box by the seasonal items. I haven't checked but there's a bakery in Bartow they might sell cookies in shapes. Other idea is the fridge section sugar cookie dough slice circles roll in green sprinkles. Do another roll this way but roll the dough to be a smaller circumference, cut and roll in green sprinkles. Bake then stack glueing with icing and decorate as you like, voila little Christmas trees.
Oooooooh off to locate at GFS!
