Connecting moms in Polk County, Fla.

Carlton Arms/Sleepy Hill Elementary

We are looking at moving into Carlton Arms in October. Sleepy Hill Elem is within the 2 mile distance, which doesn't require a school bus. I can't justify having my 9 year old walk 1.7 miles down Sleepy Hill Rd every day. Abduction, heat stroke...at any rate, does anyone live at Carlton Arms and have alternate solutions? I called the YMCA, they don't do a before school program. I have to be at work at 7, school doesn't start till 7:55. Is there a day care nearby that might provide transportation, or a carpool?

Hello,

We are moving to Carlton Arms in September and our child will be going to Sleepy Hill Elem. I am a stay at home mom and will be taking and picking up my child. Maybe we can work out some sort of child care arrangement for you, if you are still in need of this.
