Celebrate kids day
Our 4th Annual event that gives foster families a fun day. TLC Inc, foster parent organization is looking for monetary donations and new slightly used stuffed animals to give children in out of home care a fun day. To be able to give the children a chance to see siblings and give foster parents a chance to meet other foster parents. To give many children who have been tramatized by abuse a chance to forget what is going on in there lives for one day and just have fun.
The smiles from the children are the best reward anyone can ever ask for. Please take the time go through your closets and that one stuffed animal can put a smile on a child's face.

I have lots of stuffed animals my daughter does not need. When do you need them by and where would I take them?

I work at DCF in Bartow, Our event is the end of the year and just starting to collect and if you would like to bring them here when you have the free time. that would be great... the kids will really love them... the address is 1055 Hwy 17N Bartow 33830.

Lori, can you tell us what month to collect until? I will be more than happy to collect stuffed animals from our PolkMoms.com gatherings like Mom nights out and play dates and bring them to you. Since I live in Bartow it could be easier for some Polk parents to use me as a middle contact.
