Let's face it, we've all picked up a baby a time or two that smelled less than perfect.   Sure we imagine babies with powder freshness, but sometimes, they can smell like a sour burp cloth, too.

But is perfume the answer?

I don't know.   I understand a want to have a child smell fresh and clean but is masking - with what is likely a strong perfume - the answer?   I know some adults that hate perfume smells, these poor babes don't get a say.

What do you think?  Great idea?  Not for you and your child?

If your baby stinks...bathe him!  :)

I would not use it.  I am one that does not us a lot of perfumes because they give me a headache.  I think it is silly to apply it to a baby.  Bath your baby regularly and wipe them down if they spit up.  Yes my daughter had times where she did not smell perfect but she was a baby and I also said that is her baby smell.  I also have a friend that searched all over for a perfume used specifically for babies.  She is hispanic and it was something they used on babies all the time.  I remember telling her she is a baby and doesn't need perfume.  Let her have that baby smell.

Yeah, I'm with the rest of you.  If the baby "needs" perfuming, then a bath is the answer.  Not perfume.

The only time I can remember my infants stinking would be, well, when infants would naturally reek!  Change the diaper or the clothes (or both -- sometimes they'll amazingly upchuck and engage the other end simultaneously), and generally you're golden :)

Okay, so not a lot of feedback but the three of you that did comment are working along my thought process.  I do understand there are some parents that would be interested, but not enough to market such a product I would think?

I'm scratching my head here.  :/
