Both my daughters (10 and 7) have been playing since they were 4 and they love it. The league is trying to spread the word this year because a lot of parents last year said they would have liked to have signed up, but they just did not hear about it until it was too late. The fields are right behind Badcock on South Florida Ave by 540A. The league and county has redone the fields and the facilities are very nice. The fields are solely for the girls -- it is all softball there. =)

We had our first day of sign-ups today at the park and there was a good turnout. Next in person registration will be Saturday January 19 from 9 to noon. You can sign up online at cgssoftball.com

Hi Michelle; when does the season start/end and when are practices? I am contemplating putting my daughter in but she's in dance on mondays and want to avoid the interference....

Stacie:

The season runs Feb 23 to end of April. Practices start the week of Feb 4th.

Games are typically Tuesday and Thursdays from 6:15 to 7:30. My two girls have dance on Mondays as well and it has not interferred yet.

Practices are up to coach but you can place NO MONDAYS on the form and the league will try to place you a team with no Monday practices.

I hope you sign up. It has been a fun experiences for my girls.
