I know so many people that went and I really had some good offers to join a couple of families to go, too. The reason we didn't attend is because Lillian had surgery on Tuesday morning and she's not up to being out-and-about yet.
I bet a lot of you did get a chance to go. What did you think? How did it compare to years past? Is this something you strive to attend regularly?

I took both girls for the first time last night. I previously took Alexis a few years ago. We had a good time, they loved the airplanes/chopper flying overhead, the fireworks, floats and music. We left a little early, they were getting tired and I was tired of holding the 2 of them. I'll definitely need to enlist some help next year if we go again. I couldn't take good pics of the floats (until I grow extra arms, I was holding one and the other was standing in the stroller so I was holding her hand so she didn't fall); Alexis tried to take some pics but she got mostly the back of heads and the few I was able to take were blurred. Now my arms are sore today, but we had fun last night! :)
