Connecting moms in Polk County, Fla.
.
Yeah, you heard right.
Move over, Creator - WE DON'T NEED YOUR STINKIN' NATURAL IMMUNITY !!
For their chemicals, heavy metals, foreign animal proteins/DNA, aborted fetal tissue, etc, to work properly, we can't have momma's milk interfering.
A study published in PubMed.gov:
Inhibitory effect of breast milk on infectivity of live oral rotavirus vaccines
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20442687
Excerpts:
Live oral rotavirus vaccines have been less immunogenic and efficacious among children in poor developing countries compared with middle income and industrialized countries for reasons that are not yet completely understood. We assessed whether the neutralizing activity of breast milk could lower the titer of vaccine virus and explain this difference in vitro.
The lower immunogenicity and efficacy of rotavirus vaccines in poor developing countries could be explained, in part, by higher titers of IgA and neutralizing activity in breast milk consumed by their infants at the time of immunization that could effectively reduce the potency of the vaccine. Strategies to overcome this negative effect, such as delaying breast-feeding at the time of immunization, should be evaluated.

Did they ever stop to think that maybe just maybe what God created my child to have could prevent the virus they are giving my baby chemicals to prevent....HMMM I will stick with Momma's milk!!!
Permalink Reply by kimpsbl2 on January 20, 2012 at 1:18pm Maybe the rotavirus is different in poor and developing countries, aren't there problems with water supply and sanitary systems in 3rd world countries? Perhaps that's why there is more rotavirus there.
Or, (consipiracy theory) maybe there is a government contract for formula in the works....delaying breastfeeding seems ridiculous.
Permalink Reply by Jennifer Sabin on January 21, 2012 at 8:28am I wonder what they mean by "delay" If they mean an hour then it probably isn't that big of a deal (assuming you still want to vax). If they mean much more than that... I'd probably just skip the vaccine and keep on nursing.
Permalink Reply by Terra Gouge on January 21, 2012 at 9:10am Yes, this! I can't imagine delaying doing something natural to feed my child in lieu of man-made "cures".

Natural News just did an editorial about this:
CDC researchers say mothers should stop breastfeeding to boost 'efficacy' of vaccines

Permalink Reply by Jennifer Sabin on January 22, 2012 at 2:03pm Based on this quote from a government website, I don't think they mean that women should "stop breastfeeding" and rely on vaccines instead. The way I read it, they are suggesting that women shouldn't nurse at the time of immunization.

Clearly, the research is incomplete since they are not more specific about when they think a woman should breastfeed in relation to her child receiving this particular vaccine.
(And for the record... both of my girls were breastfed and neither received this vaccine.)
