Inspiring Elementary story

Found this online and just had to share it.  Warning it will bring tears to your eyes to see these young kids so supportive with their classmate that has cerebal palsy.  I know with Jesse being a bit off with his medical issues I had just found out his whole class voted him to play basketball for the up coming field day.  They know he's not the most coordinated and will not get many baskets, but they still voted him in anyway because he wanted to do it so bad.  This made me feel so good not only for Jesse but that they do care and like him as well.

It is a shame though that as most kids get older things will change with peer pressure.  Not everyone will want to talk or associate in any way with a child that has a disability (whether physical or mental).
