At this link I saw Hope Hospice sponsors a widow/widower group in Highland City and Lakeland, I don't know if you're aware of those.

I'm not in your situation but hugs to you!

Thanks Alicia.  His passing wasn't 'hospice' related, and i've tried Good shepard, but there is alot of focus on God (I mean no disrespect)  I guess just reaching out to try to find other moms  w/ a similiar situation.  But thanks alot!!!

I was hoping that just because it was sponsored by hospice didn't necessarily mean it had to hospice related.

Your in my thoughts.

Tammy I can't imagine getting over something like this, I don't think one ever does.   My husband lost his first wife 12 years ago and still has issues.  He, finally, has decided to start some personal counseling.  I hope it brings him peace.   I'm not sure if that's an avenue you've explored or considered but seeing what he has gone through, I think it is helping him.

Although many of us have not experienced the loss of a spouse by death, a lot of us have lost relationships via divorce or break-up.  I know that's not quite the same but a loss in some regards.  Plus, we are mommas here.  :)  Feel free to chat with us, online and off if you need a shoulder or ear to listen.  :)

Tammy,

I'm sorry you have to experience this at such a young age. The only resource that I know of is called Grief Share. It is a chance for people who have experienced the death of someone they love to get together and continue on the healing journey. I don't know a ton about it, here is a link with the dates & times of the meetings for the rest of this year.

Edited to add: I just read your reply about Good Shepard, so this might not be what you are looking for... I'm not sure.
