Permalink Reply by Shawn Spivey on June 11, 2012 at 10:44pm Tammy I can't imagine getting over something like this, I don't think one ever does. My husband lost his first wife 12 years ago and still has issues. He, finally, has decided to start some personal counseling. I hope it brings him peace. I'm not sure if that's an avenue you've explored or considered but seeing what he has gone through, I think it is helping him.
Although many of us have not experienced the loss of a spouse by death, a lot of us have lost relationships via divorce or break-up. I know that's not quite the same but a loss in some regards. Plus, we are mommas here. :) Feel free to chat with us, online and off if you need a shoulder or ear to listen. :)

I'm sorry you have to experience this at such a young age. The only resource that I know of is called Grief Share. It is a chance for people who have experienced the death of someone they love to get together and continue on the healing journey. I don't know a ton about it, here is a link with the dates & times of the meetings for the rest of this year.

Edited to add: I just read your reply about Good Shepard, so this might not be what you are looking for... I'm not sure.
