It's now illegal to be poor - CPS takes custody of 6 kids living with parents in storage shed

.

It's now illegal to be poor. The government and the banksters are now collapsing the system that they've built around us (because we have served our purposes building their NWO). So, as we lose our jobs, homes, etc, CPS will now swoop down and snatch your kids. This is the NEW WORLD ORDER IN ACTION !!!

HOUSTON—Parents who thought their home was safe are battling with the state over the custody of their kids, and they believe they’re being punished because they’re poor.

"You shouldn’t take our kids because we’ve fallen on hard times," said Prince Leonard, a married father of six whose family resides in a northeast Houston storage shed.

The Leonards moved in three years ago after the father, an unemployed welder, was hired as a maintenance worker.

The family had already lost an apartment and believed the homeless shelter wasn’t safe enough.

"This is much more secure," said Charlomane Leonard. "Our children can play outside here."

Recently, a passerby spotted the children outside and reported them to Child Protective Services.

A caseworker investigated, and the state took custody of the kids.

According to CPS, the children were removed because the storage shed was a dangerous living environment.

The shed, which lacks running water, is about 12 feet wide and 25 feet long.

It has an air conditioner, a refrigerator and two personal computers. The Leonards said their kids were well cared for and happy there.

Now they’re fighting to have their children returned.

"We just want them back where they belong," said Mr. Leonard.

This is crazy! Separating a family because they are poor is ridiculous. I guess the kids should be around a bunch of pervs and drugies at a shelter or have cable TV so they can keep up with Paris Hilton. Why couldn't CPS help find a better place to live? - it would be cheaper on the state to help out the parents instead of going through the legal proceedings and paying for the kids to be wards of the state.

I guess it's true, being poor is now a crime. When criminals in prison have better living conditions than free citizens, then something is wrong. CPS is our modern day Gestapo. A government agency with never ending authority. They get their power from the premise of "helping children" by any means necesssary. These parents shouldn' t be criminalized, they should be applauded for their efforts. Many people have come from poor backgrounds to find success in this world. And for they person who reported this family, mind your own house and don't worry about someone elses. If you want to help children, go volunteer or donate to charity.

Hey, at least they have a solid, secure roof over their heads, and their father is working and trying to support them! That's more than can be said for a lot of the parents where CPS "investigates" and then leaves the children in the abusive homes until the children end up dead or terribly injured! Reunite this family and educate them about resources that may be available to help the WHOLE FAMILY.

I fail to see the reasoning CPS has used in this case. The children appear happy and well cared for. The parents are apparently trying to make it without asking for to much government assistance. From the facts given, we should be applauding them, not punishing them. The living conditions are far from ideal, but they are doing their best given the conditions. They are certainly better conditions than our most of our ancestors had. I don't see CPS stepping in and taking all of the children that are living in their cars or on the streets because the parents are homeless. There simply are not enough shelters to accommodate all of them, so there are children out there in those situations. CPS needs to concentrate on the children that are being abused and neglected, not those that are poor.

.

And, had someone not intervened if 6 children were found harmed having lived in conditions where there is no running water and no bathroom facilities - we'd have outcry also.  CPS are damned if they do and damned if they don't in this situation.

I hope that the people in the area can come together and find and fund more suitable accommodation for this family and that they get their kids back.

As for your new world order crap 18 Watt - big old eye roll from me - again.

.

Fallsmama, are you saying the New World Order doesn't exist and doesn't have specific objectives to bankrupt ALL nations and bring them all under a one-world government?

I can start posting THEIR quotes and THEIR documents if you like.

Why the 'eyeroll'?

For those who DON'T believe there is a cabal of criminals who have SIGNIFICANT power

and control over the governments and peoples of the world, who are working to consolidate

everyone and everything into a worldwide control-grid, I offer the following documentaries

which are rife with documentation, quotes, footage, history, etc, etc, which PROVE that such

an entity exists.

They are now busily destroying the economies of the world (hence the poor people in the news story above having their kids snatched JUST for being poor) so they can then swoop in and have people BEG for a New World Order in order to eat.   These same criminals also want anywhere from 15% to 95% of the population exterminated.

All of the above is so overwhelmingly documented that it hurts.

Before 'rolling eyes' at what I say, be sure and watch the following documentaries and THEN come back and roll eyes:

Alright - New World Order discussion aside -

Is it now going to be the norm for CPS to confiscate children when someone loses their

job and falls on hard times? (By the way, we are headed for a depression that's much worse)

Think about that for a moment.

That means, during the Great Depression, most kids would have been confiscated if the government would have been populated with a bunch of demonic scumbags like it is now.

Oh sorry, did I hurt the feelings of those work work for CPS, stealing children and turning them over to abusive families, child sex rings, doping them up with countless drugs, etc, etc?

Oh, I am just SO sorry for all of that.

I challenge you all to Google "CPS corruption child abuse drugs sex", or any combination.  It's not ME that's the bad guy..............it's THEM.  They have QUOTAS.   They get money for stealing your kids.  ME NOT BAD.....CPS BAD.

It is already happening right here in Polk/Hillsborough county, our granddaughter was taken from her mother because she was homeless, her parental rights were then terminated, because she could not find gainful employment and housing, the baby was placed in foster care at the age of 3 now 5 we had to jump through hoops to get her out of foster care. Our phone number was in the child's DCF file yet we were never called and the mother didn't call us until after her rights were terminated. Was it fair to rip a 3 year old from her mother's arms the only parent she really knew. Those people deserve to have their children back, I'm sure they are terrified. It is only going to get worse!

.

Cheryl, thanks for chiming in.

By the way, I forgot to add this video earlier (not to change the emphasis back to this or anything):

Take a look at these horribly abused kids that CPS took away from the family in the original story at the very top.  OMG they look like walking death  .....AND VERY UNHAPPY !!!!

Perhaps CPS thought there was a problem because they didn't have pants hanging halfway down their butts and they weren't drugged-out.  Can't have that !!!!   These look like the sweetest, cleanest, happiest kids I have ever seen.  I bet they all went to church every Sunday, as well.

.

CPS is not required to call you regarding a grandchild.  Instead of being mad at them, I would be mad at my daughter/daughter -in-law  for failing to contact me sooner rather than waiting until her rights were completely terminated.

As for this article, it seems the story is missing.  If CPS took the children, are they helping the parents find proper shelter and assistance?  If so, it is correct to take the children to a place where there is running water so that they can be cared for until the parents are properly set up.  LIke most news articles, this story seems to be lacking further clarification and appears to be written to purposely sensationalize the issue.

What are you all going to do when you lose your job that's going overseas to India, China and across the border to Mexico?

Are you going to roll the red carpet out for CPS to get your kids?

.

I will be doing nothing different----We have several hundred thousand dollars saved in 401k(s) and mutual funds.  We will take care of our children.  That is why we waited until we were financially secure before having any children so that if something happened (and my husband or/and I lost a job) we would be able to still support our children without relying on govt assistance.
