Know of a dance class that won't break the bank?
Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a dance studio (ballet, jazz, etc) suitable for an untrained five year old little girl? I would love to put her in a dance class, but not have to pay an arm and a leg. Thanks for any suggestions. I am looking the in the Winter Haven, Bartow and south Lakeland area

I have heard good things about the Wright Step in Winter Haven, but don't know much about it myself.

The Wright Step school of dance http://thewrightsteponline.com/ . The owner was a performer on Broadway and is an AWESOME person. They do a GREAT job there.

I also have to say the Wright Step is great. My daughter is 7 and this will be her fourth year taking classes there. The teachers are wonderful, the kids are really nice and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend The Wright Step.

my daughter went to wendys dance studio in fort meade. for tap and ballett she is $45 a month. the monthly payments weren't bad for us, what hurt was the combination of registration fee 30, recital fee 30 times 2 classes, the outfits 30 times 2 classes. for me it seemed like every time i turned around there was a fee for something. thats what hurts the pocketbook. so even thou my daughter loved the class we need to take a year off. these two classes were 3 thru 5 yrs i believe.

Fl Dance Theatre in downtown Lakeland is where Charlotte went last year and will likely go this year if I can rope the grandparents into paying for it again! hahaha
I think the class for 5 year olds is $40/month, plus recital fees. That is really where every dance studio gets you - the recital! Their website is still new, but it has the contact info on it at least. :)

Only $27 a month. Discount for multiple classes. Ex: My girls took a total of 3 classes and it was $54 a month total. My girls have taken there since they were 3 yrs old. Classes are 30 minutes in duration.

They look great and I thought for what your getting the prices were EXCELLENT!!!!
They also have a location in Orlando.
A few of my friends go to the Orlando location and they do nothing but rant & rave about it!!!!

Ms barbra dance next door to brigham, 45.oo a class per month. they go once a week. great place. my two daughters go to three classes now. and it helps that they go to brigham. the more classes the cheaper.

I am not a fan of my daughter learning the "greatest" dance moves from someone that is older then me!!!!
