Men Try Machine That Creates Sensation of Labor

I really think there's just no way this could really give identical sensations of labor: the nausea, the uncomfortable wet messiness, the feeling of your blood veins bursting in your face from pushing.......and the list goes on, yet, I can't help but have a smile on my face at the thought a man could come close to the realization by simulation.

Take a peek at the video, it could be enjoyable, uh, I mean, disturbing.   :)

Would you love for a man in your life to experience a simulation of labor?

I think it's a great idea... but there's no way they were really feeling "the real thing" (obviously)... you could tell they were in pain, yes, but not like we feel!!

I have mixed feelings about this. It plays into the Hollywood stereotype of labor which u haven't found to be realistic. In fact, I recall reading research that women used to report less pain in childbirth before e advent of television and movies. It is much more dramatic to see a woman screaming obscenities and writhing in pain than to depict birth as something peaceful.

I've had 3 births and they were all very different. I know that labor can be peaceful if a woman is mentally prepared for it.
