I consider myself very open minded and thrifty when it comes to reusing items, but some of these, like putting egg shells in your coffee to better the taste?  Well now, that certainly had me surprised.

We dry our shells in the oven and then grind them up in the processor and put the powder on our dog's food. It is a good way for her to get calcium.

I love this!  Thanks for adding it.  :)

Put 1 dozen crushed eggshells in the bottom of the planting hole when you plant tomatoes to prevent blossom end rot caused by calcium deficiency.

Just read yesterday in an article to put broken egg shells with some water in a flower vase.  Cover the open end, give a good shake and will clean the junk out.  Haven't tried it yet though.  Have done the baking soda
& vinegar mixture with no success in the vases.  Also did rice as well with no luck there either.
