Honestly, the policy really has not changed all that much. It seems as if it were put in place to make all Publix stores have a uniform policy. I do like how they now reserve the right to limit the quantities purchased, because there have been several advertised items that have been wiped off the shelf the first day of the sale only to come back several times and see that they are still gone.

Earlier I said this, "Sounds good to me" but this new policy took a bite into my backside yesterday and I'm very much wondering if it will continue to do so.

Yesterday, Austin had soccer practice in Lake Wales. My hubby met me there after work and he watched the other children while Ethan and I headed to a LW Publix to pick up some deals. As many of you may already know I live in Bartow. Right now Bartow residents are without a Publix because the old one was torn down to make way to build a new one in its place.

The Lake Wales Publix I visited did not take Target coupons. I thought they might considering the Davenport area has a Target store not that far from them. So this makes me wonder. Will Bartow, when it opens, accept Target as a competitor? I feel I get most of my best deals using Target coupons when stacked with a manufacture coupon so this has me worried. I'm really excited about getting a new Bartow store, but if they don't take Target coupons, then I guess I won't be shopping there. :(
