No more dancing around issues in feminine hygiene is a laundry list of many considerations when keeping your most secret region fresh, clean and beautiful.

The commercial I'm linking is mentioned with the link above, when I first saw it, I laughed and loved it in one breath.  The mini-production has been a touch controversial but it breaks down to different things for different people.  I thought it was stand-up and clap brilliant marketing.  I'm totally fine if you tell me you don't agree.  : )

I would also like to hear your thoughts on keeping your 'V' spiffy.  Is it important to you?  Do you take the time for feminine hygiene beyond the basics?

Check out, Hail to the V

I don't personally find the "Hail to the V" ad offensive.

And I'm sure one person's definition of "spiffy" is different than another's. I figure so long as my husband is happy, then what I am doing is plenty good enough.

That's a fun ad, but it won't entice me to buy the product.  BUt I don't use any perfume either.  Unscented all the way (or naturally scented :)
I saw one of these commercials and thought it was funny, but I could see where it could be uncomfortable...no more uncomfortable than a tampon commercial I suppose! A college friend had told us girls about Summer's Eve Fem Wash and I tried it. To this day, I can't find another soap that makes me feel as "fresh". The same friend had also told me that she carried baby wipes with her for a quick cleansing if needed (they have since made fem wipes).
My favorite part of this was when they said "some might say its the most powerful thing on earth". Darn right it is! Well, anyways, back to the subject at hand..... I use the Wal-Marts generic version of this, Equate Feminine Wash (unscented). On a side note with that, my 5 year old little girl is very sensitive down there like I was at that age ( at 5 I swore Mr. Bubble was the devil for the burning he put me through), so I had her start using this to wash it with. All other soaps we have tried, she cries that they burn, but with this I've heard no more complaints. :)
Krista, thank you for adding that about your daughter.  My also 5 year old has a tendency to be sensitive and complain of burning from cleansing products, too.  I just may try this out.
I kinda do not even know how to respond to this, I agree the marketing is clever. I am open and honest with my children about life, body things and such. However I would not want to be watching this video with my teenage son, I also do not like the thoughts it would put into his head about this part of a woman's body.

Wow, I had never seen that commercial but it's AWESOME! hahaha...

Now back to the subject at hand...I personally am very sensitive "down there" and prone to infection if I'm not careful.  I tend to stick to an unscented feminine wash or a natural soap.  Also I sometimes use feminine wipes and or powder to keep from getting yeast infections...( which I have found very common in this heat.)

Love this commercial, I had never seen it before wither.

But as far as the product, I have never used it.

Never had any complaints, yet ;)

So, I'm going to go ahead and admit that I like to keep my regions free of hair.  For me, it just seems not only neater but cleaner.   I've waxed the area before and it ripped my skin with the hair.   With that unpleasant experience I've become a frequent shaver.   I do know a lady that had laser hair removal 'there' and she loves it!   I hope to add that to a list of things I'm saving up for.   : )

I definitely was in the line that shaving is the key to keeping myself maintained in the best possible way.  Reading this new link does have me thinking of the other side.

Well now,  a new fad is emerging.  I wonder if it will hit Main Street, USA?  Would you be interested in this 'style'?

So we don't have to pass out at a party to get this done anymore lol?  Nah, I couldn't do it, that's for the young ladies.  I barely have time for a hair appointment....
