Play groups in the area?
Does anyone know of any play groups in the Haines City/Poinciana/Kissimmee/Lake Wales area? I have a daughter that just turned 7. 1st grade-home schooled. Would love to meet other parents in the area and let the little ones have fun @ parks and such.
Any info is appreciated :)

I don't know of a playgroup but I also homeschool my 6yr old. We are part of a co-op in Celebration that changes subjects every 8wks. Now is animal science

Oh--that is awesome April. I haven't found anything like that since I start (given--I probably haven't looked too hard, either). Does that co-op accept new members? I would love to learn more about it.

Roots & Wings Co-Op meets weekly at Bok Tower's Olmstead building for elementary PE, Art, Geography, Nature Study, Classical Memory Work, and social time. Along with their parents, preschoolers enjoy their very own activities together: Art, Music, Storytime, and lots of playtime outside!
