Polk County Commissioners

I understand the County Commissioners are concerned with million dollar transactions and the last thing they ever would want to do is to listen to me complain at their meeting, but by GOD that is what they were elected, are paid and mandated by law to do!

I sat there over 2 hours waiting for my turn to speak, listening to an hour long discussion about a bike trail bridge, only to be told to get to the point after one minute. I understand how important that bike trail is, all I wanted to talk about was a stupid healthcare plan we taxpayers fund. I was never given the chance to say how the county staff treats its applicants like criminals and they hold no reguard to the Sunshine Law either.
