Connecting moms in Polk County, Fla.
I had seen a picture of these on the General Store's Facebook page. I LOVE them and think they would make a great gift this holiday season with my wine drinking family & friends up north. From the picture it's made of a mason jar and what looked to be a candlestick holder. Just wasn't sure how they adhered the two together. Went to Bing.com and found out how they make them. Not only can you use them as a wine glass or for other beverages, but you can use them as a candle holder as well. Can't wait to make these.

I just saw those in a magazine that sells different items. I can't remember the name and threw it out. They had these and a red solo cup type also. They were selling for 20.00 a pair. (I thought a little pricey) It would be interesting to see how they work out for you.
Permalink Reply by Tabby on October 8, 2012 at 4:47pm They do sell them at the General Store Downtown Lakeland. I think they are between $8-10 each, which really isn't a bad price. I can just picture a home crafter using older glass candle sticks (that may be worth $$ and they did not know it).
I got the mason jar and the candle stick holders at dollar tree for $1 each///the E6000 craft glue is at Wal-Mart, but it is like $6-$8...funny thing is...Wal-Mart is now selling them premade...FOR $10...CRAZY!!
Also, if you buy the jars without the writing on it, you can hot glue a phrase or someone's name on the jar and then spray paint the jar white...turns out cute
