Rookie Parenting Mistakes has some pretty good tips surely banked from parents that has been there done that. I have to agree with those added. If you have some parenting advice to add to tell a new parent, "Don't bother", here's the spot.

My sister freaked out after her daughter (now 14) started spitting up/slobbering red slime. I told her to breathe, relax, it's just the Tylenol you gave her 20 minutes ago. She never bought a red medicine again!
