I just wanted to post a review for this weekend's Just Between Friends Sale. I was quite critical of last season's sale, so I wanted to be sure to post my experience today.
I am glad I went, because this season's sale was a huge improvement over the last one. Things were laid out very nicely, and the bigger space really made a difference.
My daughter wears size 12 now, and I am OVER JOYED to report I found a T-O-N of clothes from Gap, Gymboree and Justice (the brands we prefer).
There are still a things with stains/tears/etc that consignors slipped in, but when you have the volume of merchandise to sell... you can hardly fault the JBF ladies. Prices were a bit better...... still on the high side in some places (like $8 for a pair of Walmart Jeans) but again... overall... the sale was great.
I'm glad I gave it a second chance... and I'll be back in the Spring for sure! :)

And there were a TON more clothes and toys this year. I stopped in today (for my 2nd trip) and was able to find more clothing that I wanted to get. It was easier today because the racks had thinned out a little bit. I know there are going to be some awesome bargains tomorrow when everything is half-price!
LOL! I bought one of your bikes as a Christmas present for our 5 year old. It was in like new condition!!

Love the sale, but was pretty pleased last time too. I didn't see any clothes with holes or stains, but I imagine some do slip by. Here's what I got: good quality 4 piece Anikan Skywalker costume for $4. I also got a pair of Gymboree jeans, a long sleeved button down shirt (Van Heusen) and a Children's Place sweater for my son...nothing was more than $5.50 and to top it off, the jeans fit perfectly! I got a pair of Mossimo cropped jeans for my daughter for $4, a "Meet the Letters" DVD for $2, a Hello Kitty reversible DSI case for $3 and some nice FBI action figures for a few bucks. I spent $34 but I am not done. Going back tomorrow! There's another costume I had my eye on. It was 9.00 and set to be marked down to 4.50. Hope it's still there! I'm actually making decent money this time around too. I priced everything very fair, and sold a lot already...even before the half price sale! My grow with me kitchen was priced at 22 and I was worried about that, but sure enough, it sold the second day. I had two bikes for 18 each, and one of them took a day to sell...the other went immediately. I am at over $350 so far!
