Connecting moms in Polk County, Fla.

Are there any of you still holding out to read or watch this series? If you are, why?

To be VERY honest (and I’ve said this before) I had no desire what so ever to read this series. I have never been a fan of vampire anything. You could say I am a fairy tale scary lore fuddy dud. Not my thing.

I had already had other acquaintances, people I never thought would read such a genre, read these books and were ga-ga over it, begging me to pick the story up. I kept holding out, did not think this is something I could enjoy.

Another truth, I only read this story because some PolkMoms was chatting this and saying they loved it I really thought I would (finally) read this and give the opposing view.

Not to be, I loved it!

So, if you are like me, really holding fast to, “I’m not going to read this series”, take it from someone that was exactly in your shoes not that long ago. Try it, you might like it. Plus, chances are, you know someone that has these books. Ask to loan them. You won’t be out anything. : )

I wanted to take this space to chat this story line, whether it be the books or the movie. If you enjoy this story, too, add your thoughts about the books and movies here.

I think a chatty Twilight topic could be, are there scenes you would hate to see not added to future movies that are in the books? Check out this, 5 Breaking Dawn Scenes That Need to Make It into the Movie. One mention is the wise cracks that Rosalie and Jacob share that can be really comical. I agree! I sure hope they can squeeze in some of that bantering wolf/vampire chemistry those two share.

Robert Pattinson Says 'Eclipse' Is 'Different,' More 'Serious'

This title had me at Robert Pattinson. Oh, that young man is a cutie! I could watch him in the - almost reveal himself to the light with out a shirt scene -in New Moon over and over and over and ......

Anyway, trying to stay on topic here! I am SOOOO excited the next Twilight installment will bring us more vamp, werewolf excitement (never thought I would add those last three words together happily-weird).

Are you as excited as I am? Are you a Twilight fan?

Is excitement for Twilight waning in your opinion?

My goodness, no one could talk about this movie/book franchise without getting a touch of the crazy eye, lol, in past but I don't hear as much excitement for it anymore.  Is it just me?

So, on to this new release, the last movie of the series, it opens this month!!!!!

It seemed like the wait was forever in the making and it's so much closer.  Love it.

So, every time a new installment came out, I tell myself, Next time.  I'll do the marathon, next time.

It seems this will be my last chance to do it.  But gracious, this will be an event, literally  like all day to see these movies back to back.  I want to so bad but don't know if I could wrap my head around vacating my own life for that long, lol.   I always feel like I have too much to do to give that much block of time to entertainment.  I know I seriously deserve it.  I hope I can make the time, some how.

How about you, will you do a marathon running of the franchise?

I think every since it came out the Kristin cheated and her break up with Rob it just went down hill with the excitement.  Heard on the radio the other day that supposedly they are going public with the Kristin and Taylor affair as well.  They are saying that she did hook up with him, but not sure if it was before her and Rob were serious or afterwards.  I got sick of it and turned the radio off.  That is all you hear no matter who it is, this one cheated, these two are calling it quits, and so on.

I am looking forward to the movie this month, but sad to see it end.  Would have been great for a new series with Renesmee and Jacob to see how that took off.  The wolf tribe with their soul mates.

Oh if your interested in the marathon give yourself permission for "me time" you so deserve it!

I can't wrap my mind around that much time in the theater but I will watch all the DVD's during the week prior. I am excited for this final movie in the series. I hope it lives up to expectations, I am curious about the ending I understand they reshot some of the ending and made changes. I hope when this goes to DVD they will share what thy changed. Just a curiosity. I also can't wait to see how they convey Bella learning to use her particular gift. Mmm I'm so glad November is finally here. All that said I doubt I go see this opening weekend maybe a matinee after the weekend?

Have you took a look at the official web page for Breaking Dawn, part 2?

It is so easy to remember the feeling of having to wait over a year to be to where we are now, the week that this last installment is set to release.  If you click on that link I added above, it tells you this movie will be released late Thursday night, November 15, 2012.

I have to admit, where I was feeling cool and collected, my anticipation is starting to get the better of me.  I'm really excited to see this as soon as possible!!!!!!

Are any of you making group plans to see it?  Do you already have tickets bought?

'Breaking Dawn Part 2' Review: 'Twilight' Final Is 'Totally Nutso'

It opens today!

Exciting, seriously, it is.   :)

I really look forward to seeing this final movie franchise chapter, although I doubt it will be this week.  But, yes, for sure, soon, I'll be there.

I added a review link at the top.  From the title it may not seem favorable but it does give a lot of movie insight and does award the movie a 3 out of 4 stars telling, this is best Twilight movie yet.

I saw Breaking Dawn 2!  I'm so surprised I went out to see this on premiere opening night.  I did go by myself, the kids were with their dad, and I thought, "why not?"

Honestly I did not expect to get a ticket.  I saw that there was one showing of the James Bond, Sky Fall, playing at the Lakeland Cobb and I was hoping there would be seats to that left and just experience pre-movie what a Thursday night premiere in Polk County would be like for such an anticipated movie as Breaking Dawn 2.

I walked up to the window and asked the attendant if there was anything left.  She said she had one ticket left for the 10:00 show.  I asked her, "For Twilight?"  And she said,  "Of course".  I giggled and said, "Oh, I came to see James Bond, I didn't think there would be a Twilight seat left."

She did an, "opps, my bad", type of look but I quickly told her I was more than happy to take that last seat off her hands.

Even if I was by myself, the energy and excitement was contagious all around me.  I even had a few ladies willing to chat with me on coming out for the premiere, too.

As you all see it too, please chime in on your thoughts of the movie.

I have to say, there's a little twist in the movie I didn't expect.   :)
