What your kids' doodles can tell you

The link I'm adding is a video link, so I hope you'll be able to view it. I thought it was interesting beyond the obvious curiosity of interpreting our child's feelings through their art. The video actually gives a little background history on art therapy itself.

What do you think of the notion of understanding our children based on their doodling? Have you picked up feelings hints and clues from your children's art before?

I thought it was interesting that my son hated drawing, but when he did draw, he drew people horizontally until he was about 5...and flowers grew horizontally too. He had a lot of developmental delays and sensory processing issues. I figured this had something to do with his poor sense of space...poor body awareness (proprioception).
