Lakeland Airport on list to close control tower

Booze and Kids in Winter Haven

Booze and Kids does not mix. Even two beers can get some people a DUI and if you have a minor on board you will loose your kids. Can't imagine thinking bring your kid and join us at the bar concept.Continue

I went to the ITV awards for Elementary students at Victory Baptist last night. My adopted Daughter in the third grade with RBW and is involved with this program and I was so impressed with the inovation of both teachers and students of all the elementary schools presented. The talent of these youths makes a person proud of our youth today. These kids put their hearts in their productions and should be praised for their work. I only wonder why the Ledger had little or no reporting on this.See More

Verizon Fios
In my experience I will not recommend Verizon Fios over Brighthouse. I was told if I signed up my bill would never change for two years. The sales person even used Brighthouse as an example. My first month was $152.00. Next month $156.00. Third was $163.00. When I called I was told they had an equipment rental increase and when I said mine was not to change for two years the answer was SORRY. I went back to Brighthouse and Verizon can take me to small claims court for the charges they sent…
