"Actually Jmarr, it does.   We, as in, the kids too, order water with no lemon when we eat out.   Everytime.  And I do love it when people will actually remember our order right when we get there.  Now that's…"

"I got the impression the 40-50 something year old ice cream server was the owner of the shop because of her conversations she was having with the other people around. But you are right...there are a lot more important things to worry about! I guess…"

Does this bother anyone esle?

This is more directed toward parents with kids who have health issues (diabetes, gastrointestinal problems, food allergies, gluten intolerance, etc) and parents who chose healthier food options for their families.I can not stand it when the servers at restaurants pick the meals for my kids. We avoid food colorings and certain soda sometimes because it can effect my son's tics. If he orders milk, the server will immediately say "white or chocolate?" If he wanted chocolate milk, he would say…See More

Jmarr replied to Shawn Spivey's discussion What Do You Think About Our Back-To-School Start Date?
"I miss the tradition of starting school just after labor day. I wish we could go back after labor day. It really felt like the official end of summer.  The A/C thing makes sense. It sure was hot at school toward the end of the school year! "

Jmarr replied to Shawn Spivey's discussion A Babysitter Costs HOW Much?
"I researched it around 2006 when we first started using sitters and I was surprised to see $10 was average. I used to get anywhere from .75 to $5. I pay $10. I should mention we also have a dog who can be a bit of a pain and needs to be let out…"
