I'd like to ask the community for some feedback.  I recently found out that I'm pregnant with my 3rd child.  My insurance which is a private plan does not cover maternity services.  I know that I…Continue

You can also order Chinese or Indian prefolds from Amazon for about $17-$22 for a doz. Some are eligible for super saver shipping [order over $25].  When I first started I got 4 doz and that lasted me through two boys :)So about $80 for the…

Hi Brenda: So far with the research I've done, it seems that the Green Mountain Prefolds have some of the highest ratings and really seem to hold their value if you choose to resell them later.  It also looks like alot of people have used…

I'm planning on CD'ing our little one when he arrives and was wondering where the best places are to buy the Chinese and Indian prefolds that everyone seems to love.  It seems the store brand prefolds don't get good reviews and…

We use cloth diapers and we love them!!!  It's so nice to not have to spend all that money on disposables!  I've bought several diapers from Craigslist, but most of ours are Cotton Babies products.  Our favorites are…

Jenny replied to Shawn Arnold's discussion 'How Old is Your Car?'
We have a 2000 Honda Odyssey with 250,000 miles and a 2001 Saab Wagon that has about 190,000.  I would like to upgrade at least one of the cars to something with less mileage but not sure when we'll be able to do this.  We are…

Thank you so much for the input from everyone.  I'm going to take the plunge with cloth.  I believe that we will start with either the flats or prefolds with covers since I'm a SAHM now.  I will eventually probably add some…

I used cloth diapers with my daughter (who is now 25 lol).   I cannot tell you how much money I saved by doing this!  It was absolutely the best choice I made because she actually potty trained early, which I attribute to the cloth…

We used cloth and it really was much easier than I thought it would be. We tried a variety of styles at first -- just bought one of each to see what was going to work. Eventually we ended up getting a small supply of Happy Heinys to send to day care…

I used them for a year or so with my daughter. I tried lots of brands, lots of styles. I really liked the Thirsties covers. Pre-fold diapers were great at first, but I liked "all in twos" a lot as time went on. I also used woolies a lot as…

Cloth Diapers

I'm wondering if any of you have used cloth diapers and would care to share your experience.  I'm looking for ways to cut down expenses with a new baby on the way and with the changes to the Amazon Mom program have been considering switching to cloth diapers.  Any input would be much appreciated.  From what I've been reading online it sounds like many people have used them and have had a positive experience.  I would also be interested to know if you have used them what system you used.ThanksSee More
