Lol! Did you name your car Dave or did someone else decide it looks like one?
We've named most of our cars ( well my cars anyway) My big van is Eleanor and my Cabrio is Vanessa. I rarely refer to the van by her name but almost always call the Cab Vanessa. I have to catch myself when talking to a stranger about her or for parts to say "VW" or "Cabrio" I get funny looks when I call her by her name to a stranger!
