Turn the Calendar?

Yesterday marked the first day of February and I actually remembered to turn the calander. I made it a, pat-myself-on-the-back moment because, sometimes, it can be close to the 4th or 5th of that new month before I get to it.

While I was flipping to February it made me wonder, do many of you even use a paper calendar anymore?

With apps and ringtone reminders on hand held devices, it's easy to imagine many not physically jotting down dates to remember but instead tapping it in with finger tips.

I guess I would consider myself an old fashioned girl. There's just something that comforts me to see those numbered square blocks hanging on the wall in flip through paper form. Plus I like the expressive options one can get when purchasing a calendar. For 2012 I bought horses. I love horses. Other years I've had European castles of yesteryear and rolling hills of Ireland.

Do you bother with a write on calendar any more? If so, does yours have a pictorial theme?
